We're keeping up the New Years tradition at SwimOP with a polar dip January the 1st at 12noon.
We plan to swim at Michael Hough Beach (the pebble beach).
Follow the red arrows to arrive by way of the bridge from the CNE or from the Martin Goodman trail (bike path), up the hill to the white metal gate at the entrance to the bridge over the water. See attached map.
That's our preferred location.
If the white metal gate to the bridge is locked, we'll dip at the alternate location, East Island Swim Dock, as shown on the map.
We'll bring boat ladders, etc., to lower down into the water for easy access.
We also plan to bring some healthy vegan snacks. (ve)Ganuary the 1st, at 12 noon, save-the-date!
