Please join us at Woodbine Beach for fun in The Beaches, on the beach, as we launch a world-class initiative at the intersection of nature, technology, and humanity.
Saturday, September 19th, from 2- 4 p.m.
The Sat. Sept. 19th Symposium is meant to raise awareness and advocate for year-round access and maintenance of our natural waterfront in The Beaches as well as downtown Toronto (HTO + Peter Street Pool), and "Swimico".
Toronto is the biggest city on the Great Lakes which hold 85% of North America's freshwater. Toronto borders Lake Ontario, which is used year-round for cold plunges. We aim to make access easier and promote natural, healthy, and helpful access to cold plunging, which is proven to improve physical and mental health.
This event will include thought leaders and innovators such as Prof Steve Mann, President of OCADU, Ana Serrano, Beaches City Councillor Brad Bradford, and Beaches City Council candidate James Dann.
Please join us at Woodbine Beach for fun and frolic. Bring swimsuit for a ride in a walk-on-water ball, and play on the worlds' first underwater musical instrument, or just come to listen and learn.
