Beach is not part of Ontario Place Corporation

Our understanding is that land up to the high water mark is public property, not owned by Ontario Place Corporation, and therefore not subject to closure at 11pm, so as far as we know we can legally stay on the beach up to the high water mark past 11pm, e.g. to watch the lunar eclipse, at around midnight, May 15th.

Looks like the high water mark includes the bike path.

Would welcome any thoughts from experts on this topic, e.g. right to access public space, and a right-of-way path to the portion of the beach that is not part of Ontario Place Corporation's private property.
