Solstice Festival December 21st = Winter Solstice = the shortest day of the year. We'll light up the night on what might be considered the darkest day of the year.

Solstice Festival on December 21st = Winter Solstice = the shortest day of the year. We'll light up the night on what might be considered the darkest day of the year.

Location:
Bike-path Border ("The Wall") between City of Toronto and Province of Ontario (Ontario Place)

Join us for a fun and playful winter solstice walk, run, bike-ride, or get-together at exactly 10:27pm (solstice time).

Walk, run, or ride to "The Wall" between Toronto and Ontario (Ontario Place) and "paint" some virtual "graffiti" using lights and long-exposure photography, or just come and watch as the world's leading light artists and creators come to shine a light on the wall that's casting a dark shadow across the Martin Goodman Trail.

Attach lights or anything that glows to your bike or scooter or wheelchair or walker/rollator or clothes or carry some lights or things that glow.

We invite flow-artists, photographers, "lightpainters" and anyone who cares about the Sustainable Technology Society to come to "The Wall" at Ontario Place and imprint some virtual "graffiti" upon the wall with lights. We will provide plenty of addressable light strips or you can send us your art and we'll "write" it upon the wall for you.
