Photos from the rally at the world's longest chalkboard

Over the weekend, Toronto witnessed a remarkable transformation as a plywood wall at Ontario Place became an expansive blackboard, sparking an impromptu outdoor classroom. Amidst debates over the privatization of Ontario Place and a land-swap controversy involving Doug Ford, the community gathered for discussions on urban studies, political science, justice, law, and public policy.

This convergence of chalk and community has turned a symbol of development controversy into a beacon of civic engagement. As the Winter Solstice approaches on December 21st at 10:27 pm, thousands are expected to join in, celebrating the intersection of community, education, and public space at SwimOP's unique event.
