Fences are the Face of Ontario Place

In order to maximize profit from public parkland that's been turned into private property, we see a lot of fences that block us from accessing the lake.

But the sword cuts both ways.  When they include the lake as part of their perimeter, they've left a big hole in their fence called "Lake Ontario".

Why claim the lake as private property?
It only undermines the security of what really is your own private property.
